Giuseppe / Italian Trattoria

Giuseppe is an Italian trattoria named after chef Giuseppe Davi. The concept brings together a trattoria, pizzeria, and gelateria into one unified space, where everyday Italian dining traditions are reinterpreted in a contemporary urban setting.

The identity was designed to convey the warmth and natural character of Italian cuisine while remaining flexible across different formats and touchpoints. Expressive typography, a handwritten monogram, modular symbols, and tile-like patterns create a system that feels lively, structured, and familiar.

The visual language balances bold extended typography with softer handwritten elements, creating contrast between restraint and character. Across menus, packaging, uniforms, collateral, and brand guidelines, the system keeps a cohesive rhythm while allowing each restaurant zone to carry its own nuance.
